Pubs in St. Albans

Submitted by Robin Hamman on March 2, 2007 – 17:01One Comment

There are over 30 pubs and bars in and close to the centre of St. Albans.

Many people like to start in traditional neighbourhood pubs, like the Verulam Arms or Ferriers Arms on Lower Dagnall Street, before working their way up to city centre style bars such as Nobuko on Verulam Raod, Harry’s on London Road or the Slug and Lettuce on Victoria Street before hitting the dance floor at the Vintry (young), Wetherspoons Waterend Barn (all ages) or Adelaide Nightclub(late 20s and up).

This mosaic should give you an idea of what to expect at each venue.

    Silly one really.
Under pubs: it’s The Farrier’s Arms (altho there is a connection of the Ferriers to St Albans – but not in this case!)
    Nice site
