St. Albans is the new Mayfair on Monopoly Board

The swanky streets of Mayfair have been replaced by
the cathedral city of St Albans as the nation’s top real estate in a
new UK-wide version of Monopoly.

The price of property on the UK Edition of Monopoly has been subject to price inflation over the years thus Mayfair, a snip at £400, has given way to St. Albans which will cost a whopping £4 million.

Over one million people voted in Hasbro’s competition to replace London streets with towns and cities from across the UK, with St. Albans attracting 10.25% of that vote.
