Bar 62 – Gastropub with Free Wifi in St. Albans

Bar 62 is the latest pub in St. Albans to offer free wifi internet access alongside a fairly typical gastropub experience. The food is good but not outstanding and perhaps a little bit over priced. But it is, I’d say, a more interesting and potentially more romantic place for a couple to go out for a drink and a bite than say Barneys or The Cock.
Other pubs offering free wifi in St. Albans that I’m aware of are Barneys on London Road and The Glasshouse on Victoria Street. The library, located on the 1st floor of The Maltings also has free internet.

St Albans library have a free wi-fi service covering the whole building, plus 6 laptop stations with plug sockets to save battery time.
