Cibo Di Vino – Italian Restaurant

Cibo Di Vino can be found in the same area as Panda Cards and Nail Art, just at the back of Boots. It’s a very small restaurant with fewer than 10 tables. The food is really something special and I wish I’d taken some pictures because it was beautifully presented.
The times I’ve eaten at the restaurant it’s been very quiet. This makes for a better atmosphere because you can actually hear what the person sitting next to you is saying! Also, the service is excellent. The waiter was very helpful, friendly, and polite.
For starters I had a fish soup, then I had a Risotto with ham and leek which lovely, but the pudding was my favourite part of the meal. I had something called a ’semifreddo’ which the waiter recommended. It was a cross between an icecream and a mousse with strawberries and warm melted chocolate poured over it.
The prices were higher than the average Italian restaurant, but reasonable for the quality of food and service. Nice for a special occasion.
Cibo Di Vino is located at 4 – 5 Waddington Road, St Albans, Hertfordshire, AL3 5EX

Will have to give it a try; though slightly less convenient now we’ve moved across town (a tad…)
We’ve eaten there as well, pricey but excellent. Michelin star type food, even the bread was memorable!
