		<description>Hi there,
Thought you might be interested in this. I live at 13 Alma Road, one of the buildings that has been destined to be knocked down by Tesco and Tesco own my flat which I rent through Halls Letting agents.
I am trying desperately to get compensation for having to move out of my flat for a couple of weeks whilst building repair works inside and outside the flat take place. I am temporarily residing at my boyfriends, however, I am disgusted that it was not mentioned to me that I would physically have to move out. So far I have had no response from the &quot;client&quot; through Halls, and although they had agreed to pay my rent back for the duration of the works whilst i am not living in the flat, I feel they should also give me compensation for the inconvienience of having to move out and the disruption it has caused of moving all my furniture out of my bedroom into the living room. I had to pay for extra tickets to get to work from Euston, as I am now residing in Apsley, near Hemel. I travel into the City daily and the tickets from Apsley are more expensive, an extra cost.
It would be useful to know if you can publicise this, as I feel I am being ignored, and I have tenant rights, which Tesco are adamant to ignore.
They have allowed the area of Alma Road where the Eversheds building sits along with the listed buildings we live in, to deteriorate, and no money has been shelled into maintenance of the building. The window frames are completely rotten!
It&#039;s a disgrace. I had very damp walls back in Sep of last year. It has taken them this long, till now, to do the work on the building. I think they were holding off, as they thought they had the chance to get what they want, their store out the back.
Be keen to hear your views on this and if you can raise this issue I would be most grateful.
Regards,
Anna-Bella Ritchie
