Just outside my old office in London was a hairdresser so there was never really a need for me to get a haircut in St. Albans. Moving to a new job sent me into a small panic – not because of my new role, new faces, or even the need to wear a suit about once a week, but because i couldn’t get to my usual hairdresser.

Today, having realised i was starting to look like Sonic the Hedgehog crossed with Elvis, i succombed and visited the first hairdresser who could take me on the spot. I’m so glad i did – Jo at Hobs gave me my best cut in years. Ace.
