Is there anyone out there who knows about any fledging political groups in or around St A? The mainstream parties seem to have nothing to offer – only parroting each others views on immigration, the war in Afghanistan, the utter inequity of British society and bloody banks of course.
Can we do nothing about it?

It’s a new group that we’re all going to be hearing a lot more about. They’re part of the Transition Towns movement, that works at grassroots level to find ways to respond to the challenges of climate change and peak oil.
They showed an inspiring film about the movement, last night at the Maltings.
You can follow their plans, and get involved, through their website.
