St.Albans City Station

Submitted by Robin Hamman on March 30, 2009 – 08:38No Comment

First Capital has made a number of updates to St. Albans City Station – on the Thameslink line running between Bedford in the north and to Gatwick, Wimbledon, Seven Sisters and Brighton via London St. Pancras – including new lifts to all platforms which, let’s face it, should have been there years ago. The price of a monthly travelcard from St. Albans to London without underground is now £257.30 per month and about £300 if you need to include the tube.

St. Albans Station is located approximately 7 to 10 minutes walk from the Old Town Hall in St. Peters Street – which is effectively the centre of town and most attractions inlcuding the market.
