St. Albans Gumtree Listings and BBC Weather Observations

This morning I added two small but, I hope, useful features to the side navigation of St. Albans Blog:

  • Local listings from Gumtree, an online classified and discussion site with advertisements for jobs, accommodation, used items and services. I took a feed of the search results for "St. Albans" and, because it picked up lots of false positives due to at least two streets in London sharing our City's name, used Yahoo Pipes to filter out those false results.
  • I've also added the BBC's weather observation for St. Albans, taken straight from the results of a search for AL1 on the BBC Weather site.
