We had a birthday get-together at The Courtyard Cafe. Top marks for the excellent food, cooked to perfection. A lovely atmosphere, a really friendly little cafe. We really love the original decor too, a mix of smart and eclectic, with great artwork and decorations. They do a great hot lunch. Lots of fantastic cous cous and a roasted red onion and blue cheese tart. Don't miss the cake it's worth leaving room for. I really like the unusual interior decor, a bit like a mad aunt's house with really really good art. I think the art has changed since I first went in there too.
