PERFECT COMBINATION OF AUTHENTIC INDIAN TASTE AND COSY ENVIRONMENT.
Really good food. The decor’s a bit of a strange mix of old and new but the food is really lovely. It not too expensive and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening there. The staff are friendly, if a little too keen sometimes!
Overall, very impressed.
My girlfriend and I went on Friday evening… as above I’d agree on all points as the food was really good (not overly oily as some Indian places can make it) and the staff were very nice.
I just hope they take the tacky posters out of the window as it makes the place look cheap.
At last an proper authentic indian restaurant in St Albans! A place that is actually indian, not to be confused with the many bengali restaurants that are everywhere. Very similar to the Tiffinbites or Masala Zone chains that are in London.
We went last night for the 2nd time but my husband does not feel it. Good food but it just feels fake and impersonal. Back to Devdas for us
great food, really Indain and not bengali as said above. nice to have authentic north indian food, good variety, decent price. I am using a wheelchair temporary due to injury, the place was very accessible & staff was wonderful. Will definitely go back with friends & family
