Thursday Update: St. Albans Train Services Severely Disrupted

St. Albans City Station was closed at 08.45 this morning after all services, both northbound and southbound, were canceled following a power failure in Central London.
I’ve posted further information and photos here.
Roads and pavements also continue to be treacherous, as you can see in the photos below:
St. Peter’s Church certainly looked picture postcard perfect though:

I remember that day… I HAD to get to london… got to the station just as it closed and ended up getting the 724 to Croxley (I think) and got the underground from there…. managed fine and didn’t actually take me all that long.
