Tomorrow my street is scheduled to be “deep cleaned” by the Council, which put a leaflet through our door a few days ago, telling us that the success of the cleaning depended largely upon residents moving their cars off the road.

I managed to grab the very last free spot within a five minute walk. Other neighbours chose to park a bit closer to the junctions of what is a quiet residential street without much traffic, or overlapping driveways but not by enough that it would cause any problem getting in or out. How have the NCP parking wardens responded? Well, it’s rich pickings ’round our way…
