St. Albans Blog contains information and independent reviews about living, shopping, eating and drinking in St. Albans. It’s authored primarily by a man in his 30’s who moved to St. Albans in around 2003.

Occasionally other local bloggers author guest contributions which is really quite nice of them.

Where posts speak of a “we”, it’s usually just an attempt to make it sound like this isn’t a one man show or, in some instances, may allude to my wife and small children having been with me at the time.

I review places I visit, services I use, things I want to highlight. It’s totally hit and miss with the reviews being notes about my experiences which may be very different from the experience you have. Where the two don’t match up please do feel encouraged to post a comment.

No cash or favours have ever been offered or received in exchange for inclusion on St. Albans Blog. That said, I’d be happy discuss advertising – but, if I subsequently review your business, will have to include a transparency statement mentioning that I’d previously taken your cash.

Traffic has grown significantly since launch in March 2007. In an average month over the last year, the blog had monthly traffic of 4500 unique visitors generating over 7000 page views. That’s around 275 page views per day – not bad I reckon.
